Amazon - Year Five

This half-term we will continue our topic ‘What did we learn from the Ancient Civilisations?’. We will move on to learning 'What do you need to know to be an astronaut?'. In art, we will be making clay canopic jars and moving on to create our own oil pastel planets. In science, we will be learning all about forces. In PSHE we will be studying MindMate (strong emotions) and moving on to Physical Health and Wellbeing in the Media. In PE, we will be working on our creative and physical skills and moving on to quad athletics.

Homework is set on Mondays and is based online. Pupils should complete:
Mathletics (1000 points); Spelling shed spelling tasks; TTrockstars and ed shed grammar quiz
Please encourage your child to read at home every night.
