Trust Year 6 Football Tournament

Every pupil in Year 6 took part in the first Trust schools 7-a-side football tournament. We split into 3 squads, played in three leagues and each team played four 10 minute matches. The passion and determination shown by all was amazing. The support and encouragement the children gave to each other was outstanding. Everybody had a great time.

But how did we do? Well, we won most of our matches! Out of five schools, two of our teams came second in their league and the other third - only missing out by one point!

Grace, Matthew and Lewis were voted player of the day for their respective team and awarded a trophy to keep as a momento of their fine performance and excellent attitude.

The event was a great success. Thank you to all our Trust schools (Beechwood, Crossgates, Grange Farm. and Seacroft Grange) for a terrific sporting afternoon. We are looking forward to the next inter-school competition.
