White Laith Primary School is situated within Whinmoor in Leeds. Children and adults work together in an atmosphere of trust, respect and belonging. Year 3 can use the Purple Mash tool ‘2question’ to create branching databases. First they used examples of branching databases to identify rocks and minerals. Then together they created one to identify dinosaurs. Next Year 3 created their own branching databases to identify types of food. Branching databases are also known as ‘Yes, No trees and help us to ask scientific questions.
