Not only have they learnt how to animate a model using Zu3d but they have also written and recorded a description of the action, made a background collage, added sound effects, and composed the music. It has been a challenging and exciting project!

Read MoreDanube class had a fantastic trip to Stump Cross Caverns and Coldstones Cut Quarry. We learned all about the caves, the rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites, what limestone is made up of and what we use it for. It was a bit cold and wet up above the quarry but we all listened carefully and had lots of questions to ask.

In Danube we have been learning about our skeletons, bones and the role of our muscles. We took part in a circuit of activities to help us feel our muscles relax and contract.
In Danube we have been learning how to make a simple, healthy egg salad. We successfully shelled and mashed hard boiled eggs. We then mixed our eggs with other healthy foods to make a delicious tasty treat which we enjoyed with some wholesome, seedy bread.

Read MoreDanube and Zambezi enjoyed working with Stacey from Phoenix dance today. The children worked in groups to create a sequence of movements which reflect the words of the poems. Next week they will add rhythmic movements to create a finished dance. All our classes will be working with Stacey this half term and it will be really interesting to see all the different dances we create.
We joined our KS2 friends from our Trust schools so that we could all meet Tom Palmer.
Read MoreIn Danube we have been learning some cooking skills. We can now safely chop fruit and vegetables using the ‘claw grip’ and use peel them with a peeler. We enjoyed making and eating our fruit salads.
