Read MoreOn Wednesday, Amazon attended the Year 5 debating competition at Seacroft Grange Primary School. We were very lucky to have been allowed to enter two teams this year and our teams did not disappoint. We won both of the debates and even won a ‘Best Speaker Award’- for an expressive and very passionate speech! It was lovely to see that so many of our parents could attend and also take a few photos as Miss Adamson had forgotten her ipad! Everyone who watched was very impressed at how well the debaters performed. Hopefully, we can enter the city-wide competition in March with more of our very talented speakers. Well done to everyone for their efforts.

Danube and Zambezi enjoyed working with Stacey from Phoenix dance today. The children worked in groups to create a sequence of movements which reflect the words of the poems. Next week they will add rhythmic movements to create a finished dance. All our classes will be working with Stacey this half term and it will be really interesting to see all the different dances we create.
