We love music at White Laith! We listen, sing and play together and always have fun - music can makes us laugh or cry and often makes us want to dance!
“Music is a powerful, unique form of communication that can change the way children feel, think and act.”
Children are taught to listen actively and to make judgements about music quality. They play musical instruments and sing a variety of songs from memory sometimes adding accompaniments. Children improvise and develop their own compositions with increasing confidence and skill. ICT is also used as a powerful musical tool to make and record music.
